Because your extensions are not getting natural oils from your scalp to keep your hair in good condition, this will keep the moisture in from shampooing while at the same time not drying them out from over-shampooing. Use a Heat Protectant Use a heat protectant on hair extensions to reduce the risk of heat damage whenever you use a heating appliance on your hair. Deep Condition Once a week, carefully put your extensions in lukewarm water and apply a bit of conditioner all over. Keep around 20 minutes then rinse it and let it dry naturally-using a blow dryer will damage them if used too much. If necessary, put the dryer on a cool setting . Keep Ends Trimmed As careful as you can, your human hair extensions will most likely to get split ends. To avoid the damage, move up to the hair shaft, keep trimming the ends every 6-10 weeks. You can do it yourself using salon scissors or go to a hairstylist for help.

I haven’t installed yet but I’ve ran my fingers through the hair multiple times and didn’t come across any shedding, the hair is very soft with amazing texture. The wefts a good sizes, as I do notice the longer the inches the smaller the weft but all in all all wefts are decent sizes. I am going for a layers look so I bought 12,16,18,20. I’ll right another feedback after 1st of installation. I do recommend so far.
